What is page rank and how does it help my website? Ive had some companies calling and offering “high page rank” back links to my website and they say these back links will help my website show up higher on google. Is this true? What the heck is page rank?

PageRank is a pretty complex formula that Google uses as part of how it ranks a website in the search engine results. Once upon a time, there was a pretty clear relationship between PageRank and your placement in the Google search rankings, but not so much anymore.
