Personally I have had great success with Graston technique in practice. Marrying it up to the overall functioning of the c-spine and t-spine for full functioning can make for long lasting patients. You will no doubt get a lot of pain only patients though… but hey… a new patient is a new patient… and with proper education you can often change a pain mindset to one of wellness.
I use the tools made by SASTM in my practice. They are similar to those made by Graston (same designer!) but they are plastic (not as cold as the metal) and have easier to grip handles (less dropping).
