Building an effective chiropractic website

A good website can be a very useful tool for getting new patients and educating your existing patients. What should you look for in an effective website?

  1. Search engine optimization. Having a great site doesn't help you if you can't be found! Make sure that your site is built properly and with the proper keyphrases. For instance, your site should show up on the first page when someone searches, "Your Town chiropractor."
  2. A clean design. Patients come to your site for information. They don't come to see spinning spines or the latest Flash technologies: they are visiting your site to find a solution to their problem. So make it easy for them to find the answer by visiting your website.
  3. Chiropractic content. Having a 4 page "brochure" website just isn't going to work. The more information you have on your site, the more likely it is a patient will stay on your site looking up information. ChiroHosting provides you with over 420 pages of content and videos, so you don't have to do this yourself.
  4. Include "calls to action." Getting site visitors is OK, but you need them to interact with you and request for information or call for an appointment.
  5. The ability to add new pages to your site easily. If you build own site or have a custom design, make sure that you can easily add new pages yourself. A site that is difficult to change...won't get changed! ChiroHosting makes it easy for you go login and add new pages in just seconds. If you can use MicroSoft Word, you can use our system.
