Using Email to Get More Online Reviews

July 22, 2019

While there are many pieces to the online marketing puzzle, nothing is more important than having good quality online reviews from patients.

Research shows that prospective patients use online reviews to choose a doctor, and that people are more likely to call a business if they see positive reviews.

One of the things we've discussed in previous articles is how to approach patients for reviews. Many people don't understand how important reviews are to the success of your practice, and simply asking for reviews works remarkably well.

A recent article in Business 2 Community talks about one great way to solicit reviews: by using your email list.

Your patient email list is a valuable resource. It's perfect for re-activating old patients, letting them know about events and changes in your office, and is used by many of our clients for our Chiropractic Video Newsletter service.

Using your email list to contact current patients to request a review is a logical step, but it's important to make sure that you can address any negative reviews that might arise from this approach.

Review moderation is one of the tools we offer with our Review Building Service. With this service, you direct reviews to a specific page on your website. This gives patients the opportunity to leave feedback. If there is a negative review, that gets sent directly to you instead of getting posted online.

That allows you to address the patient's concerns privately and confidentially.
