Encouraging Patient Reviews

July 30, 2019

As we've discussed in previous articles, patient reviews are one of the most pieces of your chiropractic marketing strategy. Patients use reviews when choosing a chiropractor, and it's a great way to show your expertise and effectiveness to prospective patients.

One key component to getting more reviews is to make it as easy as possible for patients to leave a review. A recent article in Search Engine Land provides some great tips on making it easy for patients to leave reviews. These are:

  1. Prepare your business page profiles. Make sure that you have your Google My Business, Facebook, and Yelp! profiles configured and verified. Sometimes these pages have incorrect information, and that can hurt your search ranking.
  2. Ask for reviews. We've talked previously about how to use email to solicit reviews and when is the best time to ask a patient for a review.
  3. Focus on the platforms your customers are most likely to use. If your patients are using Yelp! or Facebook, have them use those services to write a review for your office.
  4. Respond to reviews. When a patient leaves a review, make sure that you thank them privately and online! A professional response to a negative review is also important, and we've written extensively about how to deal with negative reviews.

At ChiroHosting, we have some services that can help you manage and monitor your online reviews. For more information about how we can help, give us a call today at (800) 295-3346 or schedule a 1-on-1 with one of our marketing experts.
